Welcome to Calliope.
Since 1997, Calliope has grown into far more than a centre for language learning and educational support. Today, we are proud to offer high-quality language education in several languages, international examination services, teacher development, educational support, and nationwide access to quality learning resources through our bookshop.
Our vision is to be trusted in Morocco and recognised internationally. This vision continues to guide our development as we strengthen our partnerships, expand our services, and invest in quality across every area of our work. We are equally guided by integrity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, which remain central to the way we grow and serve our learners, families, schools, universities, and partners.
Calliope is also proud to be the first bookshop dedicated to several languages and to offer the biggest range of books in English in Africa. We are especially proud of the reputation Calliope has built over the years, and of our recognition as a Cambridge Platinum Centre, as well as being the first Platinum Centre in Africa and the Middle East.
Alongside this, we remain committed to the wider international standards and quality frameworks that help shape strong, forward-looking educational institutions. At the heart of Calliope is a simple belief: language learning should help people grow in confidence, communicate effectively, and open new doors in their studies, work, and lives. Since 1997, we have been committed to creating learning experiences that are both academically strong and genuinely supportive, within a centre dedicated to language learning in different languages and educational support.
Our mission is to enable confident communication through high-quality language education. For us, this means combining high standards with professionalism, care, and a real understanding of learners’ needs. It also means being guided by integrity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement in the way we teach, support, and accompany every learner.
We are also proud to support teachers, schools, and universities through training, resources, and educational collaboration, helping to strengthen language education more widely. This commitment reflects our broader educational role and our belief that quality teaching has a lasting impact far beyond the classroom. We want every learner, teacher, partner, and visitor to feel that Calliope is a place where ambition, excellence, and care go hand in hand.
