Linguaskill from Cambridge.
The Linguaskill language test is exclusively administered by Calliope, an official Cambridge exam center.
Linguaskill, designed by Cambridge Assessment English, a department of the University of Cambridge, offers a range of two innovative, quick, and reliable English tests based on language skills used in everyday situations.
The Linguaskill tests are divided into two:
- Linguaskill General addresses everyday situations, both professional and personal.
- Linguaskill Business focuses more on professional, administrative, and commercial situations.
Linguaskill offers several advantages; it is a flexible, comprehensive, and reliable tool. The tests assess up to four skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking – and are fully computerized. Results are available in just 48 hours.
The Linguaskill tests from Cambridge are registered in the Specific Directory of France Compétences. They can, therefore, complement an English training program.

CEFR
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is the result of several years of linguistic research conducted by experts from the member states of the Conseil de l’Europe.
Published in 2001, it constitutes a completely new approach aimed at rethinking the objectives and methods of language teaching. Most importantly, it provides a common basis for the design of programs, diplomas, and certificates.
The methods employed within the Calliope Language Center allow the development of the five language skills as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), namely:
- Reading comprehension
- Listening comprehension
- Written expression
- Oral expression
- Interaction in communication
Teaching Programs Offered
Group INTER
- Number of Participants: Between 9 and 14 participants of the same level.
- Number of Hours: 30-hour module.

- Languages: Choice of languages.

Microgroup
- Number of Participants: Between 5 and 8 participants of the same level.
- Number of Hours: 30-hour module.
- Location: At the center.
- Languages: Choice of languages.

Groupe INTRA, for companies or organizations
- Number of Participants: Between 3 and 10 participants of the same level.
- Number of Hours: 30-hour module.
- Location: At the center or off-site depending on needs.
- Target Audience: Participants from the same company with the same language level.
Private Lessons
- Number of Participants: Between 1 and 2 participants of the same level.
- Number of Hours: Starting from 10 hours (the number of training hours varies according to the request and needs of the participants).
